An exercise in active reading
Imagine a coworker leaves their post early three times in one week. That observation alone does not establish that they do not care about their work. There may be an adjusted schedule you do not know about.
- Write down the observed fact without adding an intention.
- Name one piece of information that could change your decision.
- Explain a respectful first step you could realistically take.
- Describe a next step if the problem continues and affects the team.
You might start with a private conversation to understand the schedule, then clarify expectations with the person responsible if the workload remains a problem. Explain why each step fits the situation, rather than only listing actions.

Official Casper format
The standard format currently starts with four video-response scenarios, followed by seven typed-response scenarios. Each has two questions. You have one minute per video answer and three and a half minutes for both typed answers. Formats can differ for some programs. Confirm your own test type with Acuity Insights.
