Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Personal Data

While using the Service, We may ask You to provide certain personally identifiable information, including

• Academic information, such as Your school, program, and exam date

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when You use the Service. It may include Your device's IP address, browser type and version, the pages of the Service You visit, the time and date of Your visit, and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service from a mobile device, We may also collect the type of device You use, a unique device identifier, and Your mobile operating system.

Your Practice Responses

When You submit a written or video response to a practice question or simulation, We store that response so We can provide You with AI-generated feedback.

Video responses are transcribed to text by a third-party transcription provider, and both written and transcribed responses are analyzed by a third-party AI provider to generate Your evaluation.

Video recordings are stored so You can review them later and are not shared publicly or used to train third-party AI models.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and preference storage to operate CasPro. When analytics are allowed and advertising measurement is enabled, Google Ads may use advertising cookies to measure purchases. We do not sell Your Personal Data.

Product Analytics and Advertising Measurement

We use Sentry to detect errors and record aggregate usage metrics. Analytics are allowed by default until You turn them off in Settings or the footer. PostHog, hosted in the US, records product events linked to Your account id for funnels and retention. Practice and simulation content is never tracked. In Your browser, We store ad click identifiers and supported campaign and language values for up to 30 days to connect visits to signups and purchases. Supported attribution can also accompany Your Stripe checkout. When enabled, Google Ads receives an ad click identifier and confirmed purchase amount, currency and transaction identifier. We do not send Google Your email, account id or practice responses. Turning analytics off clears advertising attribution from Your browser and blocks future measurement events. Google Analytics measures public page visits and marketing clicks when configured using the same analytics preference.

How We Share Your Data

We work with the following Service Providers to operate CasPro. Each one only receives the data it needs to perform its function.

• Supabase Hosts Our database and handles account authentication.
• Stripe Processes payments for paid subscriptions. We never see or store Your full card details.
• OpenAI Analyzes Your written and transcribed video responses to generate AI feedback.
• Deepgram Transcribes Your video responses into text so they can be evaluated and reviewed.
• Sentry Helps Us detect errors and monitor the aggregate performance of the Service.
• PostHog Provides product analytics hosted in the US, linked to Your account id for funnels and retention when analytics are allowed. Practice and simulation content is never tracked.
• Google Analytics When configured, measures public page visits and marketing clicks. Uses the same analytics opt-out.
• Google Ads Measures advertising purchases using ad click identifiers, confirmed purchase amounts, currency and transaction identifiers when measurement is enabled and analytics are allowed.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We keep Your Personal Data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of Your account and Your data at any time by contacting Us.

Security of Your Personal Data

We take reasonable steps to protect Your Personal Data, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can update Your account information at any time from Your profile settings, and You can clear cookies and local storage through Your browser settings. Some parts of the Service may not work correctly without them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will let You know by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and We encourage You to review it periodically.
